One of the fundamental duties of the Ombudsperson's Office consists in monitoring of the human rights situation in the country and the Government’s achievements in human rights area.
In its position of National Institution for Human Rights Protection and a stakeholder, the Ombudsperson's Office intents to develop an independent report for the second cycle of the Universal Periodic Review of November 2016.
For these reasons, the Ombudsperson's Office wants to know the opinion of the civil society with regards to the level of implementation of recommendations developed as a result of assessment conducted in December 2011, as well as current human rights situation in the Republic of Moldova.
