On October 22, 2014 in Comrat took please a seminar "Rising of voters activism in the process of electoral rights realization"

The seminar vas realized by ”Institutul democrației” NGO in  common with the People’s Advocate representative office in  Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia (Gagauz Yeri).

The seminar was attended by women of Roma community from this area. The basic purpose of the seminar was to raise the activism of citizens-voters, including women and Roma representatives in the process of electoral rights realization.

During the seminar were discussed the new elements and the specific of parliamentary electoral race in 2014, the specific of candidates forwarding as well as before election campaigns and the necessary requirements for the electoral lists.

A special attention was paid to infringements prevention of election procedures and norms.

The participants of the seminar watched video materials on the discussed issues and received information materials about the activity of the People’s Advocate Office.
