On 6 November 2014, Aurelia Grigoriu made a visit to Chişinău City Hall in order to get documented regarding this case. Previously, dissatisfied with the decision of local authorities by which they are not allowed for free privatization of flats, refugees and veterans of the conflict on river Nistru have submitted a petition to the Center for Human Rights of Moldova.

Aurelia Grigoriu got acquainted with the protesters requirements and informed them that after a comprehensive analysis of materials and concretization of all parties position involved in this conflict, she will present her findings. The Ombudsman noted that she will resort to experience of mediation mechanism, which provides finding of a amicably solution for the created situation.
