During May 2013, on the eve of International Children's Day the employees of the CHRM, children rights protection Service Liliana Cerici and Tamara Tentiuc organized several training activities in primary school „Ion Creangă” and high school „A. Vartic” located in Ialoveni region. Where they discussed about children’s rights and responsibilities.

During these lessons, the children were informed about the United Nations Conventionon the Rights of the Child, the Law on Children Rights, as well as who is responsible for ensuring of child rights. With several instructive games with fully involved of children.

The mentioned children participated in interactive games on family topics, rights and obligations. Children discussed on family role and responsibilities of family members. Pupils showed their family’s genealogical tree, made presentation of the family members. The kids mentioned that the family is the place where they are in safe, are loved and cared for.

During this events were highlighted the importance of the family in the society, as well as the promotion of principles of respect, equality and responsibility. To children were also explained what is domestic violence and how it can be prevented and combated.

Children are persons whose needs and rights are distinct from those of adults. They are more vulnerable than adults to the difficulties of each day life. It is mandatory  in all actions concerning them, to take account on the best interests of the child. With the aim of spreading knowledge on child rights and building capacity to defend these rights.

All children were actively involved in the discussions taking part in games organized during these meetings, manifesting themselves openly and freely. At the end of the events the participants received several information materials.
