According to the Action Plan of Child Rights Protection Service for 2014, on 24.09.2014, Liliana Cerici and Tamara Tentiuc, consultants within the Center for Human Rights from the Republic of Moldova carried out training activity about child rights and responsibilities, about the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova, about the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child with pupils from 10th -grade of boarding type school from Cărpineni.
The purpose of the activity was to inform children about the right to health and social protection of orphan children and those under guardianship/curatorship, namely the allowances that should have orphan pupils (students) and those under guardianship/curatorship from the professional and vocational schools, secondary specialized educational institutions and higher education as well as boarding type schools and orphanages.
Also, children found out about the activity of the People’s Advocate for child rights protection.
