Representatives from the People's Advocate Office in the European Village

On May 14, the Ombudsperson for Children's Rights, Maia Bănărescu, and other representatives of the Ombudsman Institution, Natalia Visanu, Tamara Tentiuc and Elena Draghici, participated in the activities of the European Village, organized by the EU Delegation in Moldova in the Public Garden “Stefan cel Mare” in Chisinau, in the context of the Europe Day.

The Ombudsman's Office employees presented informational materials developed by the OAP on various topics related to human rights, international and European standards in the field. Officials informed the persons who visited the tent about the tasks and powers of the Ombudsman, the problems people can contact the ombudsman on. Several informational materials published by the Office of the Ombudsman have interested the visitors, the flyers were distributed to people on request.

This year was the second the employees participated to the European Village event and the activities dedicated to the celebration of the Europe Day, organized in Chisinau.
