Within the campaign of tolerance promotion, held by the Centre of Human Rights of Moldova on 19 November in “Mihail Kogălniceanu" high school, took place a meeting with the pupils of the eighth grade.The topic of the discussions was "People with disabilities: between discrimination and tolerance."

Students analyzed the situation of people with disabilities became aware of the multitude of problems faced by these people. Children concluded that tolerance is the respect, acceptance and appreciation of differences between people, kinds of expression and manners of express of our human beings quality

The pupils discussed about social causes of discrimination, have proposed various solutions in order to change the existing situation and motivated the necessity of tolerance as an active attitude prompted by recognition of human rights.

The mentioned activity is designed to educate children in the spirit of respect for human rights and the rights of people with disabilities in particular.
