The Parliamentary Advocate for children’s rights protection Tamara Plămădeală, submitted to Republic of Moldova Parliament objections and suggestions on the draft Law on amending and completing of some legislative acts (in the field of adoption).
The Children’s Ombudsmen considers that the draft Law needs to be revised substantially. The project did not have an economic-financial foundation in the case that for the completion of the new regulations will require financial expenditures and other costs to the concerned draft law.
Objections and suggestions of the Children’s Ombudsmen aim several aspects of adoption: some functions of central authority in the field of adoption, requirements of potential adoptive parents and requirements to them, etc.
