Following the broadcasting of PROTV channel’s reportage related to accommodation conditions of persons in republican asylum for people with disabilities and pensioners from Chişinău, according to art. 24 of the Law Nr.1349-XIII from 17.10.97 on parliamentary advocates, on 28 February 2014, the employees of the Center for Human Rights of Moldova Gheorghe Bosîi principal consultant in monitoring and investigation service and Elena Draghici, consultant in monitoring and investigation service made a unannounced monitoring visit to the concerned institution.

 The monitoring visit was organized in order to elucidate the circumstances presented in the broadcasted reportage, and to conduct a control on the observance of rights and fundamental freedoms in the institution.

 The facts established during the visit are presented in the Report
