Ombudsperson Mihail Cotorobai invites the representatives of the civil society to the Ombudsperson’s Discussion Forum.
The second meeting of the Ombudsperson with representatives of NGOs is organized with the support of UNDP Moldova and MFA of Norway and has the aim to strengthen the dialogue established by the new Ombudsperson with representatives of the civil society and to increase the number of Ombudsperson’s partners from the NGOs.
The following subjects will be discussed during the Forum:
- Announcement of the Ombudsperson's Office’s intention to develop an independent report for the II cycle of the Universal Periodic Review of November 2016;
- Debates on a draft National Mechanism of monitoring the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
- Counselling of NGOs on the most delicate problems of human rights which, in the civil society’s opinion, should be stated in the Annual Report of the Ombudsperson's Office.
The meeting will take place on 4 December this year, at 10:00, in the conference room of the Le ROI Center, 2nd floor.
We invite representatives of the civil society to the discussion with the Ombudsperson.
We encourage you to accept our invitation and suggest what other topics could be debated during the meeting of 4 December. The civil society’s opinion is important for the Ombudsperson.
