The national ombudsman institution post on the web page the information on the observance and promotion of human rights and freedoms in the Republic of Moldova during 2014. The mentioned information can be found on CHRM’s website in the compartment annual reports  (http://www.ombudsman.md/sites/default/files/rapoarte/raport_resp_cpdom20...).

The information contains findings which refers to the observance of human rights in Republic of Moldova in 2014 on different compartments: the right to health protection, the right to social assistance and protection, protection of persons with disabilities, right to work and labor protection, discrimination and the principle of equality, freedom of expression and right to information, right to vote and to be elected, right to property and its protection, observance of human rights in Transnistria and adjacent localities.

In separate chapters the institution refers to performed competences in 2014 under OPCAT and the observance of children rights in Republic of Moldova.

For the first the institution tackles the subject of responsibility for the future generations in terms of Ombudsman from the Republic of Moldova  competences.

Chapters V and VI refers to human rights promotion activity in the community and other aspects of institution’s activities: statistical data on activity during 2014; Team dynamics and potential and budget execution; Court of Accounts audit of financial situations of the institution on the budgetary year 2013.

Till March 15, the information on human rights observance in 2014 will be presented in Parliament.
