The campaign „Family without violence, society without violence!”arrived on November 6, 2014 to the pupils from Theoretical High School of Budeşti village with educational and instructive activities on the combat of domestic violence topic. Liliana Cerici and Tamara Tentiuc, consultants of the children rights protection service within the Center for Human Rights of the Republic of Moldova held an interactive discussion with the pupils from the 9 grade.

The importance of prevention and combat of domestic violence, awareness of the need to combat any kind of violence were targets of these activities.

It is important to note that carried out activities on this issue provided by the national ombudsman institution's employees were not new to students. The High school had several activities at this issue, as a proof serving thematic billboards and an exhibition of pupils works on human rights topic among them could be found also the topic of violence combat.

During the discussion children learned about the authorities and authorized persons with functions for prevention and combat of violence, provisions of national legislation which regulates this phenomenon and about application of protective measures in cases of domestic violence as well as the consequences, in case when violence is tolerated.

Pupils were informed about the activity of the People’s Advocate for the protection of children rights.
