The campaign "Family without violence, society without violence!" on 23 October 2014 came to ”Mihai Eminescu” high school from Bălți with a instructive activity on combat of domestic violence topic. Liliana Ceric and Tamara Tentiuc, the consultants of the children rights protection serviceheld an interactive discussion with the eighth and twelfth grade pupils.

The objectives of the activity were the importance of prevention and combat of domestic violence as well the fight with any kind of violence.

Children learned about the authorities and authorized persons responsible for preventing and combating of violence, the national legislation which regulates this phenomenon as well as the protective measures in cases of domestic violence, and the consequences in the case when violence is tolerated.

The pupils were informed about the activity of People’s Advocate for children rights protection.

The Center for Human Rights of Moldova donated to the mentioned Lyceum a set of materials.
