During the mentioned meeting were discussed various issues regarding cooperation in the field of children's rights protection as well as the opportunities for expansion of cooperation between UNICEF Office of the children’s Ombudsman.

During the discussions Dejan Mincic mentioned on effective cooperation established in recent years with the CHRM, expressing the hope in successful implementation of ongoing projects.

The Director of the Center for Human Rights of Moldova pointed the support provided by UNICEF Office in Moldova during the elaboration of Study-Report ”The torture and ill-treatment of children in the context of juvenile justice: prevalence, impact, prevention, detection assistance and accountability”. Anatolie  Munteanu mentioned on the UNICEF assistance in realization of  some broadcasting programs at Radio Moldova with the involvement of Parliamentary Advocate for protection of children rights which contributed to the visibility of children's ombudsman.

Appreciating as constructive cooperation between CHRM and the UNICEF office, Anatolie Munteanu declared that Ombudsman Institution counts on UNICEF’s further support and assistance in activities for protection and promotion of children's rights.

During the meeting were made exchange of views on the agenda of joint activities for the current year, the parties expressing interest in expanding of good cooperation relations.
