Students from the Faculty of Law, USM - on internship at CHRM

The initiative comes from the Students Council of the Faculty of Law, USM, which organized the deployment in 10 public institutions in the country, such internships for future lawyers. Raisa Morozan, Maria Lupaşcu, Carolina Dogaru, Alexandrina Raţă and Petru Vîrlan chose to do internship at the National Ombudsman Institution.

The CHRM has responded to Students Council initiative, providing students with all necessary support for a broad-based documentation regarding the tasks and activities of the institution.

At the meeting with the students, the CHRM director Anatolie Munteanu welcomed the idea of ​​such internships, noting their voluntary nature.The Ombudsman was impressed by the fact that students, on their own initiative and during the summer holidays, have agreed to make these internships, which shows a real interest in knowing the specifics of the institution of human rights protection.

Anatolie Munteanu has assured that he would do everything possible for students to find out more information from the field of human rights, related to duties, functions and the role of Ombudsmen.

For this purpose the representatives of the CHRM will present to student information about their activity fields, will answer to their questions. The young people will be able to familiarize themselves practically with the type of organization and functioning of the institution.

The director of CHRM expressed his confidence that the information gained at the CHRM by youth people will be useful for them in determination on future area of activity in the field of jurisprudence and their formation as lawyers.
