The campaign for torture prevention and support of torture victims, launched by the Centre for Human Rights within the activity of the National Mechanism for the Prevention of Torture began in Comrat through a training seminar with soldiers from the Military Unit of the Carabineers Corps.

During the lecture presented by CHRM employee S.Rudevici, were discussed the legal provisions at national and international level in the field of torture and ill-treatment prevention, have been analyzed various aspects of ill-treatment and torture.

Was discussed the role of the ombudsman institution in Moldova in torture prevention.

Within the event were watched and discussed various videos materials on torture and impunity topic. The employees of CHRM launched an appeal for the exclusion of torture and ill-treatment in carabineers activity.
