Within the activity the National Preventive Mechanism, on 18 February 2013 representatives of the Center for Human Rights of Moldova Gheorghe Bosîi and Lilian Tudosan made a preventive visit to penitentiary institution Nr.13 in Chişinău.

Purpose of the visit was focused on the monitoring of detention conditions in cells for preventive detention of male detainees. In this regard was visited cell nr.49. The report on mentioned topic could be finded in NPM reports section

On the results of this visit was issued a notice under art.27alin. (11) of the Republic of Moldova Law on Parliamentary advocates concerning the  liquidation  by the Penitentiary Administration of rights violations guaranteed by art. 24 alin. (2) of the Constitution (right to life, physical and mental integrity), which can be founded in section Reaction acts.
