On December 2 2014, in theatral gymnasium "Ion Luca Caragiale" was carried out two activities for children rights promotion.

The employees of children rights protection service T.Crestenco and T.Tentiuc realized a meeting with pupils from 8th and 9th grades.

The topic of the discussions was on human rights and especially children's rights. Pupils studied some provisions of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child, discussed how children's rights are guaranteed and respected by state, how these guarantees works for every child.

Also pupils were informed about the mechanisms for rights defense. The children discussed about their responsibilities about how the right is correlated with certain responsibilities, pupils became aware of why is necessary to respect human rights, which are beneficial effects of human rights respect for individual and society.

This meeting with pupils from theatral Gymnasium «Ion Luca Caragiale» lanced the decade of human rights for children, activities related on propagation of human rights is traditional for this period.

Education of the young generation in the spirit of knowledge and respect for human rights is a priority of the Center for Human Rights of Moldova.
